On the darkest day of the year we had
Fox tracks on the deck.
Moose tracks on the driveway.
Rabbit tracks by the compost.
Chickadees at the feeder.
Ravens above the birches.

Just catching up after a Christmas trip to visit with family in the east Kootenays. What gorgeous photos, Paul! We’ve seen deer, elk and mountain sheep this holiday, and an abundance of birds. Our grandchildren made us two bird houses… one for our home and one for the summer cabin.
